Travel Wish List

It’s a great big world and there is so much more yet to explore. Truth is, my wish list appears according to what I read and scroll or someone refers me to find.  I’ve been blessed enough to have travelled to some amazing places and I’ve had some amazing experiences, and look forward to more. I got the travel bug when I first went to Europe with my husband, and knew that this is my favourite thing to do – travel. From camping in a National Forest in the UK to sleeping right in front of  The White Cliffs of Dover at a carpark, each new place only stokes the fires or wanderlust that much more. My travel experiences are fluid, new experiences will certainly take the place of old; and travel is an addiction without a cure. Without further ado, here is my travel wish list.

  2. Eat my way through the Emilia-Romagna region of Northern Italy
  3. Watch Glasgow’s Annual Pothole Fishing Contest
  4. Attend a Gallipoli dawn service in Turkey – I am a Kiwi (NZer)
  5. Stay in an ice hotel in Sweden
  6. Experience the great migration in the Serengeti
  7. See lightening over Table Mountain
  8. Hike to Victoria Falls
  9. Go on an African Safari
  10. Explore Yellowstone National Park
  11. Stand at the Abraham Lincoln Memorial
  12. See with my own eyes the Declaration of Independence
  13. See the heads of the 4 Presidents in Mt Rushmore
  14. Go to Macchu Picchu in Peru
  15. Walk across the Great Wall of China
  16. Experience the Southern hospitality of Savannah, Georgia
  17. Watch the sunset in Santorini relaxing at a white cave house with a cold drink
  18. See Cheetahs in the wild
  19. Stay in a houseboat in Amsterdam
  20. Ride a cable car in San Francisco
  21. See the Northern Lights (I tried and failed on a Norwegian Cruise)
  22. Hot air balloon over the pyramids of Giza
  23. Hot air balloon over Cappodocia
  24. Take a train ride through Switzerland
  25. Listen to Jazz in New Orleans
  26. Kayak around the Isle of Skye in Scotland
  27. Stay in a Tuscan Villa and watch the sunset
  28. Visit the Holy City, Jerusalem and visit the Wailing Wall and follow in Jesus’ steps
  29. Write a letter to Juliette in Verona
  30. Have a christmas somewhere in America and enjoy their over the top version

31. See the Viking Museum in Oslo

32. See Penguins in Antartica

33. Cruise or train ride through Canada

34. Attend a gospel service in Harlem and enjoy the music and preaching

35. Visit the famous prison – Alcatraz
