Stuff we have seen and done: We only came to this town for a wedding of family and didn’t see much else but would love to go back.

• St George’s Hotel – the roll call of famous guests at the Hotel includes Winston Churchill, French Emperor Napoleon III and Margaret Thatcher. Churchill also caused a minor incident while staying in a room in this hotel. It was opened in 1854. NB: We went to a wedding here and it was beautiful and then photos on the promenade and everything including the wedding breakfast was lovely. Great spot for a wedding.
