Koh Tao

Stuff we have seen and done:

• Snorkelling day tours – just do these all the time, it’s such an easy day and in most cases – affordable.
• The French Market – absolutely great place to eat!!

Snorkelling Tours:

• We Believe (snorkelling tour company). They were so good, offered lunch, snorkels and even free underwater photos after the day sent to our email. Fantastic service and lovely people.
• Private Tour Company – another option where you are taken on something called a “Longtail” but be mindful its provides quite a bit of a vibration on the journey.

• Take a scooter and scooter around the island.
• Massage – can’t say it enough.
• Dancing there are a lot of bars with live music and chill out spaces.
• Sairee Beach for fireworks. Just wait and then watch they will come along the beach and perform for a tip afterwards. It’s quite something. The hotels hire them to come and perform but Koh Tao is getting busier so the competition is on between the hotels for their services.

Places we stayed:

• Clear View Resort – perfect view and just up from the ocean for swimming and snorkelling. It’s more the view I loved more than anything else.

• The Haad Tien – another lovely place along the beach and a lot of pools, great restaurant and a free shuttle to town. There is even a diving pool at this resort.
