Stuff we have seen and done:

Van Vieng:

• The BEST LAGOONS are here in this area. There are 6 Lagoons but we stayed by Lagoon 3 as we think it is the best. But each has something different. From zip lining to other activities.
• Go Karts – you can hire these and drive up to the Lagoons
• Hiking – for mountain viewpoints. Phangern Mountain or Nam Xay.
• Cave and Cavern Exploring – Tham Phu Kham Cave and Blue Lagoon · Tham Nam (Water cave) · Tham Khan Cave · Tham Xang (Elephant Cave). WARNING: There are many but be careful not to dive in any without checking.
• Nam Song River – it is just a strikingly peaceful and lovely place to be in nature.
