Stuff we have seen and done:

  • Royal Palace of Madrid – it is such a beautiful palace and it makes one feel small in such stately surroundings, but I loved it. Lines weren’t too bad in November.
  • Temple of Debod
  • Eat lots of food
  • Do a lot of shopping
  • Bus Tours: In the city you can find bus tours everywhere. It’s cheaper and better for seeing the city, and stress free.

Off the beaten path:

  • Spanish Inquisition Museum 
  • Spanish Inquisition Walking Tour
  • Mercado de Motores Flea Market
  • Wander round Conde Duque
