Andalusia
Stuff we have seen and done: I loved Andalusia! There is a lot of Moorish history which is why I chose to travel this area. Citadels and forts and cobbled streets are commonplace in many areas so wear good walking shoes.
Seville:
- Plaza de Espana – this beautiful plaza area had some beautiful buildings and some free flamenco dancing outside the square. We then walked around the gardens and the romantic sounds of a spanish guitar were heard playing as we sat and absorbed the moment.
- Flamenco dancing show – flamenco is famous in Seville. It seems to be everywhere so you won’t find it hard to find a show and go watch the performance. But book in advance they can be busy and full.
- Mudejar Citadel of Seville
- Cathedral of Seville – the tomb of Christopher Columbus is located inside the cathedral and has been since 1899. MUST BOOK IN ADVANCE.

- Royal Alcazar of Seville
Cadiz:
- Eat some good food, and just chill out and enjoy!
- Setenil de las Bodegas – a town in Cadiz which is famous for its dwellings which are built into rock overhangs. So utterly interesting. We ate at the restaurants here and drank and sunk these interesting things all in.

Rhonda:
- Puente Nuevo – completed in 1793. It is one of the most spectacular bridges in Spain. Drive and walk across it. It is a short drive but so cool from all angles.

Juzcar:
- Smurf Village – it’s a small town that was used as a marketing ploy for the movies. It’s still there because the town wants it there. Houses painted blue and smurfs around the town.
