Stirling

Stuff we have seen and done: 

• Stirling Castle – of course! It’s a great castle to visit, but going from building to building on a wet day can be tricky, so take an umbrella or jacket as there is a bit exposed to the elements.
• National Wallace Monument: History Bite: This monument stands above the fields where Wallace led his troops to victory at the Battle of Stirling Bridge.
• Stirling Bridge: This is a great historic walk across the bridge that is so famous for the battle. There are signs and landmarks to see around this bridge.
• Doune Castle
• Church of the Holy Rude – I love churches and visit them whenever I can.
