Stuff we have seen and done:
- Eilean Donan Castle: History Bite: Eilean Donan means “Island of Donan” referring to the Saint of the same name who lived on the island in the 7th century. Robert the Bruce also took refuge here in the 1300’s.
Things to know: We drove to this castle and it’s an easy drive, with beautiful landscapes and scenery.
