Coventry

Coventry: History Bite: The famous ride of Lady Godiva is associated with this city and her naked ride through the town to aid her people in relieving them of heavy taxes. You can also see a sculpture depicting this in Broadgate, Coventry if you want to see it.

We just drove around this city for a bit cause my husband had a work conference here but it’s such a cute cute city. Shopping too :)

• Godiva’s Cathedral Quarter Walk – I like to know a bit about a place and a local tour is just the trick.
• The Holy Trinity Church – epic cool to look at and the only medieval church in Coventry. Dates back to the 12th century.
• War Memorial Park
• Coombe Abbey Country Park
• St Mary’s Guildhall – first built in 1340 and one of the finest surviving medieval guildhalls.
