Bath

Stuff we have seen and done:
- Royal Crescent: History Bite: Besides the fact “Persuasion scenes from the 1995 version were filmed here, the area is super famous and amazing to look at. Built in the 18th century utilising the greatest examples of Georgian architecture, it is a row of 30 terraced houses laid out in a sweeping crescent. There is also a Museum at the beginning of the crescent.
Architecture of the Royal Crescent – I’ve got to mention 114 Ionic columns on the first floor and palladian style above to make it eye catching – even if it is made of stone
- The Roman Baths – these use to be like leisure centres in ancient Rome so take the tour and learn about what life was like because the Romans are a major part of European history. These are well preserved baths and I loved to walk around them.
- Bath Abbey – I just Abbey’s and Cathedrals and churches.
Differences:
Abbey – houses a monastery or convent
Cathedral – a church that is the official residence of the diocesan bishop
Church – building for public worship
- Bridgerton Guided Tour – for those lovers of Regency
Off the Beaten Path:
- Alexandra Park has a beautiful view
- Beazer Garden Maze
- The view @Bath Abbey Tower
- Museum of Astrology
