Giza

Stuff we have seen and done:

• Grand Egyptian Museum: History Bite: The world’s largest  museum dedicated to a single civilisation. It’s  so big and has everything that should be seen on a trip. Tutankhamun’s Mask, Ramses II & Seti, collections of papyri and of course – sarcophagi.

• Great Sphinx of Giza – it was under construction when we were there but we still saw it from a little way away. Below is my dad …

• Panoramic View of the Pyramids & Pyramids
• Pyramid Light Show – the pyramids are lit up at night for the show.
• Climb through the Pyramid of Khufu – it’s hot and sweaty and an uphill climb but worth it to get to the centre.

• Camel ride through the Sahara to the Pyramids

• Royal Pyramid Inn – amazing view of the pyramids from their rooftop which makes it perfect for me.
