Stuff we have seen and done:

• Hastings Caves – I love caves with stalactites and stalagmites. They are so eerily cool to visit.

• Mt Wellington – amazing views and walks. Amazing!!

• Steppes State Reserve
• Port Arthur Historic Site: History Bite:
  This huge former convict settlement built in the 18th & 19th century is a popular historic landmark.

• Wineglass Bay & The Hazards
• Cataract Gorge Reserve
• Salamanca Market – one of Australia’s most visited and loved outdoor markets.
• Gordan River Cruises
• Enjoy – the clean, green and beautiful air.
• Dove Lake Circuit

Tips & Tricks:

• We hired a camper and then wild camped for the most part around Tassy. We jumped online to find others who found hot spots for camping and we met some cool people along the way doing the same thing.
• Shop at markets or supermarkets to save money and cover more than 1 meal. Cereal is a good carry and bread and butter and a bbq go a long way. Australia is great for BBQ’s at parks. Many are free and found at parks.
